The following is a list of weapons in Niffelheim.
Basics[ | ]
Weapon is the equipment used to hunt and kill enemies. There are two main types of weapons in the game: melee and ranged.
Melee weapons are used in close combat with or without a shield. Melee weapons include hammers and clubs, battle axes, and swords. Each of the weapon classes grants the player different abilities: hammers have a chance to stun enemies, swords have a chance to add bleeding debuff, and battle axes improve the player's chance to land a critical hit.
Ranged weapons allow the player to damage enemies at a distance and grant them an armor penetration bonus. Ranged weapons require ammunition to be fired: bows use arrows, and hand cannons use shells.
Each hit made with the weapon reduces its durability. When its durability reaches zero, the weapon is destroyed. The player can restore some durability of their currently equipped weapons and their shield by using a Small Weapon Repair Kit or Big Weapon Repair Kit from their inventory.
